If your debtor is a business and you do not have the company's tax ID number, you may request our office to perform a Business Tax Identification number search for you. A Business Tax Identification number helps to ensure your lien identifies the correct business debtor. This prevents any occurrence of misidentifying a business debtor. While our office cannot release the Business Tax Identification Number to you, we will provide the portion of the Business Tax Identification Number that is required for the lien.
